Driscoll Engineering, Inc. (DEI) is a privately held Consulting Engineering firm located in Gainesville, Florida.  Since our beginning in 2000, DEI has served the Structural Engineering needs of our local community as well as those of the North and Central Florida regions.

Driscoll Engineering is a structural engineering firm which specializes in structural analysis, design and evaluation of a myriad of residential, commercial and institutional structures. These include:

  • Engineering for custom designed screen rooms and screen enclosures
  • Mobile home foundation and site built structural evaluations
  • Pole barn analysis and structural design
  • Providing calculations for wind load analysis
  • Specialty foundation analysis and design utilizing helical piers for structural support

All of our engineering design and CAD produced plans at DEI are completed in-house with as quick a turn-around time as possible. We have become very adept at developing unique and innovative client-centered solutions for their projects of varying levels of complexity. We have found that this level of attention to detail has served the needs of our clients very well for thousands of projects over the years.

REAL ESTATE EVALUATIONS

We, at DEI, often work with many realtors and officers of financial institutions to perform structural evaluations as requested. We understand that time is of the essence in real estate transactions. That is why we continuously strive to provide our evaluations and subsequent reports accurately and in a timely manner. We provide our clients with all the due diligence resources required, to facilitate each of their unique real estate transactions.

SITE VISITS

Site visits for structural evaluations are typically scheduled within 1-2 business days of the request.  Evaluation reports are typically provided within 1-2 days of the site visit.  Payment method for site visits is via credit card on our website.  Payment for the requested services may be made through the payments tab on the menu.
